Read evia blog just now, and suddenly have the urge to explain my name.. Thks evia! =D

My chinese surname is Tai(戴), a chinese character with 17 strokes. It seems unique to some people, but it also seems werid to some people too. For me, I do not really like my surname, maybe its hard for me to write in primary school? That's why in primary School, i only write "wen wen" in chinese homework, test and exams.

Wen Wei (文伟) - This name, i also wondered who created my name, but legend states that 'wen wei' is created by a fortune teller or a monk. 'Wen' means polite "si wen", tradition "wen hua". 'Wei' means I need to be proud of my family. "wei da".

Actually, my formal name is call Zhi Wei (志伟) - sounds cool right! - However, in my dialects, it sounds really weird. That's why my parent decide to call me 'wen wei'. Wen Wei also sounds cool, alrights! =D

My Relatives call me - Ah Wei/Oi

Don't ask me why they call me ah wei. Maybe its because its the tradition method to call ppl by 'ah' follow by their last name? Hahas. I wonder why.

At the age of 12, i decided to call myself 'David'. I think i am inspired by the singer "David Tao". That's why i decided to call myself David, therefore this blog URL is yandao-david.bs.com. However, my classmates still call me wEi!, Wen Wei, or ah wei.

Anyway, just like evia. I have many incident happened in my life path. I should cherish my life right now! For all I know, at the age of 1-4, I almost died of asthma, as there is too much phlem in my lungs, making me hard to breath! At the age of 5, my digestive system had some problems. I had constipation for many weeks, and I remembered that I almost fainted due to my weak stomach! At Primary 2, I fainted after singing the national anthem. It was due to weak stomach, again! At primary 5, I quarreled with my friend. Due to I was getting too heated up in the fight, my asthma started, and i remembered that i couldn't breathe for at least 1-2 mins. Luckily aids come in time and I was saved!
